Kefir vs Yoghurt
These two foods are sometimes referred to as nearly identical products, but this is not true.
Although they have a lot in common. Both have similar creamy flavors and are traditionally made from dairy products (but can be used in alternative products). Both have plenty of protein, calcium, B vitamins, potassium, and probiotics.
However, there are also important differences. Kefir typically contains more fat than yogurt, but also contains more protein and more probiotics. Kefir is also more fluid and can be consumed as a drink. Yogurt is thicker.
Their productions are quite different. While kefir is fermented at room temperature, yogurt is made by heat treatment. Kefir contains a larger number of different healthy bacteria and is therefore better for the gastrointestinal tract. Kefir’s active yeast also has more nutritional benefits than yogurt.

Yogurt contains temporary bacteria to cleanse and align the intestines by feeding the good bacteria. They go in and don’t stay.
Kefir bacteria can actually stick to walls and colonize to stay and regulate. They are also aggressive in nature and can actually go out and attack pathogens and bad bacteria in the gut.
