How Do You Generally Consume Your Kefir ?
Stanford University School of Medicine has recently published a study called fermented food vs fiber. (Cell Journal)
Fermented foods such as kimchi, sauerkraut, Japanese fermented foods, kombucha and milk kefir promoted diverse microbiata and they have anti inflammatory effects. Study suggests fermented foods should be consumed on a regular daily basis.
A lot of well known universities such as Stanford and Harvard started to do researches on the fermented foods and its effects on humans.
However, today’s topic is recipes include milk kefir that you would be surprised.
How do you generally consume your kefir ? For example, have you ever heard that you can make soup out of it or pancakes?

Recipe Series 1 – Pancakes

One of the breakfast ritual of Sundays, pancakes can be made with kefir. Yes, you heard right! The organic materials you need; 1 egg, 1.5 cups of Guty milk kefir (organic kefir made with kefir grains), 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 pinch of salt, 7-8 tablespoons of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1 tablespoon of vinegar. Whisk the liquid ingredients with a fork and then gradually add the flour, continuing to whisk. After heating your pan to medium heat, add some oil and cook your pancakes one by one. Don’t forget to enjoy it with hot cheese of your choice!
Recipe Series 2 – Kefir Cookies

Who doesn’t like cookies ? Now, you can make your cookies with kefir at the comfort of your own home !
The ingredients you need to make kefir cookies are as follows;
1 egg, 1/2 cup of butter,
1 cup of starch,
1 cup of Guty milk kefir and 1/2 cup of blueberries blended together,
1 cup of sugar,
1 packet of baking powder and vanilla,
4-5 cups of flour and some chocolate.
First step is melting the butter on a pan and adding the mixture of eggs and sugar to it. Then add one cup of fruity Guty kefir with the rest of the ingredients together into a bowl and knead well. After resting your dough in the refrigerator for 10 minutes, shape dough into small cookie sizes on the baking tray, bake in a preheated 180 degree oven until the top gets golden brown and enjoy the perfection!
Recipe Series 3 – Soup with Kefir

How would you like to make a soup with kefir?
The ingredients are as follows;
1/2 cup of rice,
1 cup of meat/chicken stock,
2 cups of Guty kefir,
1 tablespoon of butter,
2 tablespoons of mint and spices of your chioice
After washing and draining the rice, leave it to cook with 4 glasses of water and 1 glass of meat/chicken stock. Melt the butter in a pan and fry the mint in it. Pass the cooked rice through the blender and start adding your Guty kefir slowly until it has a smooth consistency and add the mint before serving.
Recipe Series 4 – Simple Kefir Salad Dressing

Everyone loves to see a good salad on their table. To make it happen you need a reat dressing to it. The thing is, not all store-bought salad dressings are fresh and healthy. But you know what? That’s okay! Why? Because it’s super easy to make your own kefir salad dressing at home and you know exactly what goes into it!
Ingredients as follows;
1 cup of Guty kefir,
3 tablespoons olive oil,
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar,
1teaspoon ground chili pepper,
1 teaspoon black pepper,
1teaspoon salt,
2 teaspoons oregano,
1 clove of grated garlic,
Whisk them well in a bowl and its ready to dress your choice of salad.
